Don't worry; your "artist's block" will not be a permanent thing, even though sometimes it feels like it will - I know the feeling!
Do you live somewhere that has museums or galleries you could visit? That usually helps me get inspired, even if I am looking at art that is nothing like my own, it usually gets the ideas flowing. If there are no places to look at art in person, go to a good bookstore and rifle through the book in the art section. Or sit down with some good art magazines full of new ideas at the bookstore. (I like Juxtapoz and Hi Fructose a lot.) Another thing I do is troll the internet for artist websites to view portfolios, and I *love* flickr.com for finding lots of new art to look at. Be open minded and look at all sorts of art - drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, ceramics...you never know what might start the ideas flowing!
I hope some of this helps, even just a little bit. Good luck with your artwork!

Deadlines! I can't properly function without deadlines! My best work always seems to come when I am under pressure and the clock is ticking. I am forced to trust my decisions and just do it. When I am presented with a lot of leisure time, I often find myself looking at a bunch of unfinished work... that is until a DEADLINE!

Ooh, that is a good one. Yeah, deadlines definitely get me to stop playing around with paint and really make some work. I have never been good with self imposed deadlines, though - something I need to work on!
