This is a tough one. I think the best thing to do would be to look at how other artists price their work. Find several people whose work is similar to yours - maybe they are using the same medium as you (such as watercolors), maybe they are making art with similar subject matter (such as flowers, for example), or maybe they are making art of a similar scale (such as murals). There are a lot of artists selling their own work on sites like www.etsy.com and www.ebay.com, so those are two places to start looking for similar artists if you are not ready to go the gallery route yet. Whatever you decide to do, be sure to include the price of materials and your labor into what you charge. Pay yourself a good hourly rate, and work out the math. I hope this helps!
